The Cathedral Free Clinic in the Diocese of Saginaw exists to serve uninsured and underinsured individuals, offering free basic primary medical care to those in need. Rooted in the spirit of Christ, the clinic welcomes all patients seeking physical healing, while also providing opportunities for spiritual care in its chapel during clinic hours. By combining medical treatment with “soul care,” the clinic embodies a holistic approach to wellness—caring for both body and spirit.
These murals were designed as gentle, accessible entry points for patients—especially those who may have never set foot inside a church—to encounter Jesus and His healing presence. Each mural depicts a healing miracle from the Gospels, created to encourage peace, faith, and hope for every patient who walks through the clinic’s doors.
